I have developed plantar fasciitis & have had the original crocs, which are now painful. This particular model came up as a suggestion on a website specifically for foot problems & thought I’d try them. However, with foot pain, you really need to be precise in buying the right size shoe, however the options given here (for men) are indecipherable (a fault of the retailer). Since there are different sizes for men’s & women’s, the numbers are fairly arbitrary, which mean’s the manufacturer’s sizing is also really unhelpful. For people with heel pain & trying to buy online, European sizing is really more helpful, as it is a more precise number related to the actual size of the foot (no “men’s” or “women’s” stuff).

After I had spent around $1200 on other things to relieve my plantar fasciitis and heelspur pain, I tried these shoes. Oh, how I wish I had tried them first! I would have saved a lot of money. As soon as I put them on, my heel pain was gone and I stopped limping. (I had spent about $1000 on expensive Birkenstocks, SAS, etc., and was still limping.) The heel cups my doctor recommended didn’t help at all. The only things that have helped are Crocs, especially this one, and stretching my feet and legs before getting out of bed. These shoes helped INSTANTLY! I also have some Crocs “Patricia” sandals that are good-looking and also very comfortable. My relatives with heel pain now want some “Patricia” sandals for themselves. Anyway, if you have been trying in vain to find relief for heel pain, do yourself a favor and try these shoes before you spend any more money. I suffered a long time before discovering these shoes.
